How do you make a carved pumpkin last longer?
You might ask how do I keep my carved pumpkin from rotting. Dip or spray it with a solution of three gallons water and 3 tablespoons bleach or make a natural spray with peppermint essential oil. Mix about 10 drops of peppermint oil, one cup of water or vinegar and a teaspoon of liquid soap to help keep mold at bay. Peppermint has anti-fungal properties, which will help keep fungus and mold away.
