We love throwing parties and having guests. We have some simple tips at our house for having a company ready welcoming home! Summer is a great time to enjoy the company of good friends. All you need to do is have a few things on hand so you are ready!

Tidy Up!
We use guests coming as our motivation to get our home in order. Guest will feel more peaceful if your home is tidy. Don’t miss my amazing shower cleaner using Dawn Dishwashing Liquid. Only two ingredients! At our home, we have to give a special shout-out to Dawn Dishwashing Liquid because a couple squirts help put on our water skis all summer long!

Stock up on the necessities
Don’t run out of the necessities by keeping some extras on hand. We make sure we have loads of paper goods like Charmin Ultra Strong Toilet Paper, Bounty Select-A-Size Paper Towels, napkins, and tissues. Remember you will be doing extra dishes and cleaning (and skiing) so grab an extra bottle of Dawn Original Dishwashing Liquid.

Have plenty of food and drinks
Keep the fridge stocked with a wide variety of beverages and snacks. Make it easy for your guests to grab a quick snack whenever they want. We also place snacks and drinks in our guest room. Leaving a couple of bottles of water and sweet and savory snacks are an extra special touch. A little chocolate for their pillow is sweet too!

Have extra toiletries on hand
Just like a hotel bathroom, you can lay out a few toiletries like soap, shampoo and conditioner, and lotion. Make sure the bathrooms are stocked with extra Charmin Ultra Strong toilet paper and items that are frequently used like Pantene Daily Moisture Renewal Shampoo, conditioner and Old Spice High Endurance body wash.

Plan Activities
At our home, we are fortunate to be able to ski and swim. Make sure you have a variety of options to keep guests entertained. Stock up on magazines for those that want to relax and read. Board games and cards are a great way to interact and enjoy each other’s company. Plan an outing to a local attraction for guests that like to go and do!
