How to use the Watercolor Effect Guided Edit in Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018
Choose the Guided mode at the top and then choose Special Edits. Then select Watercolor Effect. The Watercolor effect helps you add all the special details to make your photograph look like a painting. This technique is perfect for printing and displaying photos on your walls. It gives them a special touch that will showcase your memories perfectly!

Choose a watercolor effect on the right side. I chose Effect 1.

Next, choose a watercolor paper. This is where the magic happens. The watercolor overlays give the photo all the details of a watercolor painting.

Choose a canvas texture. The slider allows you to change the intensity of the effect.

If there are any brush strokes you would like removed they can be easily removed with the Refine Effect Brush. I took away the dark brush stroke under the left eye.

Now you are ready to print. For this wrapped canvas project choose actual size 8 1/2 X 11″. Select, Center Image on the page. Place the printable cotton canvas in the printer and print. Don’t forget to grab your Adobe Photoshop Elements free trial so you can try it out!

How to make a wrapped photo canvas
Following manufacturer instructions, print your photo onto one sheet of the cotton canvas.

Remove paper backing from the canvas. The back of the cotton canvas is sticky. Place the wrapped canvas on the back of the printed canvas.

Wrap the printed canvas around to the back. Use a staple gun to fasten.

Continue stapling the canvas to the back. There is just enough room to staple in some areas, but it will work. To keep the canvas tight, staple, then move to opposite side to staple.

Are you ready to decorate? Photos make a home warm and inviting and with these simple techniques you can turn your photos into a beautiful display. You will love how easily you can edit your photos with Adobe Photoshop Elements 2018 to make your photos works of art!
