These Valentines Day tags will help wrap up your goodies while letting your friend know that you think it is a treat having them for a friend. I am using them to package cookies but be stapled to a single serve package rice krispie treat for a classroom Valentine. Kids would love them. {It’s a treat having you for a friend Valentines Day tags}

Bake up your best Valentines treats (or buy something yummy) and place in a paper sack. I put my treats first into a glassine bag and then slip inside a paper bag. The glassine bag makes sure that any oil from the cookies won’t stain the bag. Fold over the top of the bag. Add a doily to make it extra pretty if you like. Fold the Valentines day tag around the top of the sack. Use a hole punch to place two holes at the top to tie twine or ribbon through. The tags can also be stapled or glued to the paper sack.
Tip:
Before folding the gift tag in half lightly score where it should fold with a dull knife to make an indent in the paper. This will help the tag fold nicely.
Cut the tag in half if you would like to tie the tag around a cello bag and don’t need it to foldover.

If you are making sugar cookies I promise you this is the BEST sugar cookie frosting ever! Valentine puppy chow would be another delicious gift. If you have a friend with allergies these peppermint patties are amazing.
